The SBPS/SCDSB September 2025 newsletter is now available!

Each year, schools across the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) host holiday markets, craft fairs, and exhibitions.

On Dec. 9, students from Georgian Bay District SS (GBDSS) will work together to cram a police cruiser as part of a community effort in support of the Georgian Bay Food Network.

On Dec. 3, Ontario’s Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) released the 2024-25 EQAO assessment test results.

On Dec. 5 and 6, 16 senior boys’ basketball teams from across Simcoe County and as far away as Costa Rica will be ‘driving to the hoop’ in hopes of winning the 37th annual Collingwood McDonald’s Basketball Tournament.

On Dec. 10, students from Elmvale District HS, Georgian Bay District SS, Orillia SS, Stayner CI, and Twin Lakes SS will show their school spirit and the spirit of giving at the second annual North Simcoe Cup.
